Role & responsibilities
Plan and manage raw material requirements based on production schedules, customer demand, and inventory targets.
Execute MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to ensure timely availability of raw materials while minimizing inventory costs.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries, resolve shortages, and monitor supplier performance.
Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock, safety stock, slow-moving, and excess materials.
Analyze material shortages and take proactive actions to avoid production line stoppages.
Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow across the supply chain.
Track and improve key supply chain KPIs such as inventory turns, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory accuracy, and supplier delivery performance.




Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly reports on raw material consumption, inventory status, shortages, and purchase requirements.
Support recent product launches, engineering changes, and phase-in/phase-out activities by ensuring material readiness and inventory optimization.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency

Preferred candidate profile
Preferred Candidate: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field with 811 years of experience in raw material planning within a manufacturing setting.
