Senior Technician ROV/UUV (Electrical & Electronics)

Location: Chennai (Office & Field)

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical/Electronics Technician to support the maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and assembly of advanced underwater robotic systems such as ROVs and UUVs. The role involves a combination of office and field work, including travel to ports, offshore locations, industrial plants, and customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of ROVs, UUVs, and their subsystems.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
Test, repair, and solder PCBs and electronic components.
Carry out electrical and mechanical assembly of robotic systems and equipment.
Use testing instruments, hand tools, and power tools for maintenance and repairs.
Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
Support inventory management, spare parts handling, equipment packing, and mobilization for field operations.




Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance during all office and field activities.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support technical operations and project execution.

Eligibility
Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
1–4 years of experience in electrical/electronics maintenance, field service, industrial equipment, robotics, or similar technical roles.
Freshers with solid practical skills and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
