The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts and accounting records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow.
Verify vouchers, invoices, and payment entries.
Support audits and provide required financial documents.
Prepare MIS and financial reports for management.
Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and compliance with policies.
Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants.
Required Skills:
Robust knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
Analytical and reconciliation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive communication and reporting skills.
Qualification:
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.
Experience:
0–8 years of experience in accounting and finance operations, preferably in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.
