Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries for Namo Realty’s projects. This full-time, in office role in Mumbai involves preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flows, assisting with budgeting, and supporting audits and compliance activities.

The Senior

Accountant will review project-related financial data, ensure accurate cost allocation, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders. The role also includes improving accounting processes,



maintaining documentation, and supporting management with timely financial reports and analysis.

Qualifications

Robust knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.

Experience with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and audit support within the real estate or construction sector (preferred).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain organized financial records in a quick-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
