Salary - 45-60k experience - 5+years Role Description The Safety Team Leader (Construction) is a full time, in office role based in Thane, responsible for leading safety initiatives across construction projects. This role oversees daily site supervision from a safety perspective, conducts regular inspections, and ensures compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies.

The Safety Team

Leader coordinates toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training for site personnel, and supports investigations of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to identify root causes and corrective actions. The position requires close collaboration with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to integrate safety into work plans, methods, and schedules.

Leader maintains accurate documentation of safety activities, prepares reports for management and regulatory authorities, and promotes a proactive safety culture among all workers on-site.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision experience in construction environments.





Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with project teams, workers, and external stakeholders.

Candidates should possess Inspection and Construction Safety skills, including familiarity with safety standards, PPE requirements, and hazard identification.

Candidates should preferably have knowledge of local construction safety regulations, codes, and industry best practices.

Candidates should ideally have experience leading safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.

Candidates should have the ability to maintain accurate safety documentation and prepare clear reports for management and authorities.

Candidates should hold a relevant diploma or degree in engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related field; professional safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
