Job Profile:
Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Return for Self Managed Superannuation Fund as per SIS Act and Income Tax Act of Australia.
Auditing financial statements from compliance, SIS act and Income tax act perspective and preparing various audit reports and letters.
Provide the tax office with the written report on any contravention of the SIS Act where they believe the contravention may affect the interests of the members or beneficiaries of the fund.
Provide the trustees with the management letter or audit finalization report summarizing the findings of the audit, any action taken or proposed by the trustees, and any potential weaknesses in administrative procedures or systems
Preparation of Business Activity Statements (GST Returns)
Researching technical issues.
Doing all aspects of client work from compliance to tax planning
Provide advice about administration and operational issues, including how to establish an SMSF,



the addition of recent trustees and members and valuation of the fund assets
Provide advice on meeting the inhouse asset rules and modifying contribution level due to changes in the superannuation guarantee level
Process the transfer or rollover of the funds into, or out of, an SMSF where the decision to transfer or rollover the funds has already been made.
Dealing with ATO, ASIC and OSR regarding taxation, audit, SMSF issues for client.

Educational Qualifications/Skills
CA, Inter CA, ICWA, or any other accounting qualification with relevant work experience.
BCom, MCom candidates with additional degrees or experience will be considered.

Experience:
1 yr of SMSF experience is required.
Proven work experience in accounting, audit, and taxation.
Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Valuable to average communication skills.
