Site Facility Management
Oversee the setup and maintenance of site facilities, including labor camps, accommodation, utilities, and basic amenities.
Ensure that labor camps are well-equipped with proper sanitation, water supply, and safety measures.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for timely setup and repair of site infrastructure.
Workforce Management
Plan and organize the setup of labor camps, ensuring adequate capacity and compliance with health and safety standards.
Monitor the daily operations of labor camps, addressing grievances and ensuring discipline.
Work closely with HR and contractors to manage the availability and welfare of the workforce.
Statutory Compliance and Licensing
Ensure compliance with the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Cess Act, including accurate filing and payment of cess.
Maintain all statutory registers and records as mandated under labor laws.
Liaise with government authorities for audits, inspections, and certifications.
Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of resources for labor camp facilities.
Act as the point of contact for site-specific administrative issues with local authorities and government bodies.
Address disputes or concerns arising from contractors, suppliers, or other stakeholders regarding site operations.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare and maintain documentation related to labor licenses, BOCW cess payments, and CLRA compliance.
Submit periodic reports to the DGM Projects on the status of site facilities, compliance activities, and operational challenges.
Maintain records of labor strength, attendance, and grievance resolution at labor camps.
Health, Safety, and Setting (HSE)
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines across site facilities and labor camps.
Implement measures to mitigate risks and promote secure working and living conditions for the workforce.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
