Position: Solar Technician

Key Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain the University s rooftop solar PV systems.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of solar panels, inverters, LT panels, wiring, and related electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot faults to ensure maximum system efficiency and minimum downtime.
Monitor daily power generation and maintain maintenance and performance records.
Coordinate with vendors for servicing, repairs, and warranty-related issues.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and University policies.
Support the Electrical Maintenance Team in the smooth operation of campus power systems.

Qualifications & Skills




Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in solar PV system installation and maintenance.
Sound knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, electrical distribution, and safety practices.
Valuable troubleshooting, reporting, and teamwork skills.
