Project Highlights
This project focuses on building advanced AI-powered localization and Computer Vision systems for real-time object tracking in outdoor environments. The solution integrates Edge AI servers, GNSS/RTK systems, cameras, and sensor fusion technologies to accurately detect, track, and map objects with high precision for large-scale logistics and supply chain operations.
The Computer Vision &
Localization Engineer will work on developing real-time vision pipelines, spatial mapping systems, and AI-based localization frameworks optimized for rugged Edge settings. The role offers robust exposure to NVIDIA Edge AI platforms, OpenCV, OCR, GNSS integrations, and advanced sensor fusion technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
GNSS/RTK Integration: Establish serial port communication with dual-antenna RTK
GNSS receivers, parse NMEA/UBX sentences, and extract heading, position, and fix-quality data in real time.
Sensor Fusion &
Spatial Math: Translate detections from camera pixel space to real-world X/Y coordinates by fusing camera intrinsics, vehicle heading (GNSS)
Edge Deployment: Deploy and optimize vision and localization models on NVIDIA Jetson or equivalent rugged Edge AI hardware, ensuring real-time throughput.
Computer Vision &
OCR: Implement object detection and text recognition (OCR) pipelines using OpenCV and/or deep learning models, optimized for day and night outdoor conditions.
Requirements
Python Mastery: Excellent Python programming skills with an emphasis on algorithmic problem-solving, clean code, and performance.
OpenCV &
Image Processing: Experience with image processing pipelines, camera calibration, perspective transforms, and real-time frame analysis.
GNSS: Hands-on experience with GNSS receivers, RTK corrections, and serial port communication (pyserial or equivalent).
Spatial & 3D Math: Comfort with coordinate frame transformations, rotation matrices, bearing/distance calculations, and projective geometry.
Linux &
Hardware I/O: Proficiency working in Linux environments, managing serial devices, USB peripherals, and PoE cameras.
NVIDIA / Edge AI (Nice to Have): Experience deploying models on NVIDIA Jetson platforms or similar Edge AI hardware using TensorRT, DeepStream, or CUDA.
OCR (Nice to Have): Prior experience with text detection and recognition.
