Role Description The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing civil works at project sites in Chennai, ensuring that construction activities follow approved designs, specifications, safety standards, and timelines. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with architects, contractors, and subcontractors; monitoring site progress; resolving technical issues; and verifying quality of materials and workmanship. The role also involves reviewing drawings, assisting with planning and scheduling, preparing site reports, and supporting stormwater and drainage solutions as required.

This is a full time, in office position based in Chennai.

Qualifications





Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant standards and codes.

Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction sites, including oversight of structural and infrastructure works.

Skills in Planning and project coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.

Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles and site drainage design, including practical implementation at construction sites.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, basic structural analysis tools) and MS Office.

Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to quality and safety.

Ability to work independently on site, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple tasks.

Prior experience in building projects or working with architecture/interior design firms is an advantage.
