As Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design you will be responsible for design & development of Gas turbine & Centrifugal compressor auxiliaries/skid packaging that includes,
Understanding customer specifications, deriving requirements for the design of various Mechanical Auxiliaries.
Sizing and selection of various auxiliary equipment such as pumps /motors/ filters/ heat exchangers/strainers/valves.
Piping design as per ASME B31.3 (pipe sizing, pressure drop calculation, material selection, reviewing piping stress analysis, piping support selection and piping layout design)
Structural verification using FEA tools such as Ansys.
Foundation loads calculation and skid lifting design.
Leading project meetings, and travelling for Kick off / 3D model review meetings with global customers
Collaborating with external engineering suppliers in the creation & review of basic engineering drawings and 3D models, with knowledge on GD&T.;
Providing timely communications on significant issues or developments.
Participating on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
Participating as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
Work with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Build upon knowledge of critical stakeholders and apply cross-functional learnings to develop competencies
Assuring proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Fuel your Passion To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor s / master s/Ph.D in mechanical/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Static /Rotating equipment design
Exposure in skid packaging of Gas Turbine and/or centrifugal compressor,
Exposure to 3D modeling/Detailing tools like UG NX, and Analysis software like Ansys
Solid experience in Piping domain
Exposure to FEA Analysis software like Ansys.
Exposure to API/ASME /NFPA codes.
Exposure to 3D modeling/Detailing tools like UG NX, GD&T.;
