About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SQL Developer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL to develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance database solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SQL development, query optimization, database performance tuning, and PostgreSQL programming to support enterprise applications.

Working Model
Hybrid work model (3 days per week from the Pune office).
Shift Timing: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST.
Candidate should be adaptable to work with a 2-hour overlap with the US time zone, based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize SQL solutions using PostgreSQL.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and scripts.
Perform query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
Develop and maintain DDL/DML scripts for database development.
Manage database migration, data loading, and Excel/CSV import activities.
Ensure database performance, integrity, and reliability.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable database solutions.
Leverage AI tools to generate and optimize SQL queries.
Prepare technical documentation and support database deployments.

Required Skills
8–10 years of experience as an SQL Developer.
Solid expertise in SQL, PostgreSQL, PL/pgSQL, and pgAdmin.
Experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, DDL, DML, Views, Indexes, CTEs, Window Functions, and Complex Joins.
Robust knowledge of query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis.
Experience with database migration, data loading, and Excel/CSV imports.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Exposure to ETL/Data Migration projects.
Knowledge of Git and cloud-based database platforms is a plus.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pune, Maharashtra (Pune, Satara District)
