Core responsibilities
Sourcing for Local as well as Global Projects
Building a supply chain network through vendor development & preparing sourcing strategy aiming toward effective supply chain with control mechanism for the KPIS Minimum PO conversion time, Delivery & Quality performance Index, maximizing Savings.
Interact with global buyers and understand and comprehend the requirements and translate them into action
Responsible to develop vendors for all Paper-machine parts (predominantly customized manufactured parts based on Voith drawings) Equipment sub-assemblies, Standard Buy outs,
Support to Sales for Cost estimation of manufacturing items
Formulating the frame contracts with boundary conditions.

Professional Experience & Education
Bachelor in Mechanical/ Mechatronics engineering with 5+ years of experience in project buying (industrial machinery/ Projects).
MBA/Diploma in Supply chain Management will be preferred.




High level of domestic & International vendor contact.
Excellent negotiation skill. Understanding of INCOTERMS
Good commercial and Technical knowledge (excellent understanding of new items/machine drawing) suitable for Project Workplace.
Working experience in Supply chain Management in Project Environment handling medium to large contracts

Proficiency in Software required
SAP (MM)

Complexity associated with the role:
Achieving DPI with right quality and price in complex Project setting with new machinery parts /services
Working with different departments and Voith locations
Travel to suppliers sites

Key internal and external interfaces:
Sales, Application, Project, Mechanic engineering, Automation engineering, Global team, Suppliers, Sub-suppliers and Customers.
