Lead Trading Systems Support Engineer (Front Office)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Trading Systems Support Engineer to manage and ensure the seamless operation of global front office trading systems for Asia's leading brokerage. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive support to global Dealers, Traders, and Business Heads, maintaining critical order management and trading systems, and driving their expansion into recent markets.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee trading operations for global front office systems, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality.
Interact directly with Dealers, Traders, and Business Heads across the globe to support trading activities and address their operational needs.
Provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting, and development using SQL, PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting, and Perl to maintain system stability.
Participate in the successful rollout of trading capabilities to recent markets and stock exchanges.
Work on critical order management and trading systems, ensuring their reliability, performance, and compliance with business requirements.
Follow established standards and best practices,



collaborating with the broader technology organization for seamless integration and consistency.
Document system processes, troubleshooting procedures, and deployment activities to ensure knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements to ensure the robustness and future-readiness of trading systems.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
10 to 12 years of hands-on experience with SQL and Unix scripting skills.
Extensive experience working in Equities Brokerage Front Office systems support, preferably within a bulge bracket investment bank.
Proven production support experience with robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Must have exposure to working directly with end-customers/business stakeholders, vendors, and other project teams as needed.
Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) or Market Connectivity systems, particularly within Cash and Futures & Options (F&O;) markets and Asian Exchanges.
Knowledge of FIX protocol is essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
