Role & responsibilities
Plan and execute preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance of turbine auxiliaries, including BFP, CEP, Vacuum Pumps, FGD Pumps, Condenser, ACW/CCW systems, PHE, Chemical Dosing System, and TG piping.
Lead turbine and auxiliary capital overhauls (210 MW & above), ensuring timely execution, equipment reliability, and effective root cause analysis (RCA) of failures.
Manage inventory and critical spares, including material inspection, preservation, indigenization, item coding, and procurement support.
Prepare and monitor maintenance budgets, scopes of work, AMCs, and ensure optimum utilization of spares, consumables, and maintenance resources.
Ensure safety, statutory compliance, housekeeping, anti-corrosive coating activities, and maintain maintenance reports, PM checklists, shutdown reports, and daily work records.
