Role & responsibilities
Structural Design & Analysis: Perform end-to-end structural analysis and design for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and industrial steel structures using STAAD.Pro and ETABS.
Code Compliance & Optimization: Apply design codes (IS 800, IS 875, AISC, MBMA) to calculate wind, seismic, and dead/live loads while optimizing structural steel weight for cost-effectiveness.
Drawing & Detailing Coordination: Review and approve General Arrangement (GA) drawings, anchor bolt layouts, and connection details; coordinate closely with detailing/drafting teams (Tekla / AutoCAD) to ensure accurate execution.
Connection & Member Design: Carry out detailed designs for primary and secondary members, cold-formed sections, and connection plates (moment connections, shear connections, base plates).
Technical Support: Resolve technical queries during fabrication and site erection stages, ensuring compliance with structural design intent and safety standards.

Preferred candidate profile
Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in PEB structural design and industrial steel buildings.




Education: B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Technical Skills:
Mandatory proficiency in STAAD.Pro
Strong foundation in structural steel design, frame stability, and connection mechanics.
Familiarity with Indian (IS 800, IS 875) and International (AISC, MBMA, AISI) design codes.
Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD or Tekla Structures is a plus.
Soft Skills: Valuable analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, explicit communication, and a team-oriented mindset.
