Role & responsibilities
Design and analyze RCC and steel structures (PEB & Non-PEB) for residential, commercial, and industrial projects (warehouses, pipe racks, equipment foundations) in accordance with IS codes (IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893) and AISC standards.
Independently handle the design of slabs, beams, columns, footings, and steel structures, ensuring safety, serviceability, and optimized material usage.
Perform structural modeling and analysis using ETABS, STAAD Pro, and SECURE, considering wind, seismic, crane loads, and equipment loads.
Prepare and verify design calculations, BOQs, and Design Basis Reports (DBR) as per project and client requirements.
Apply AISC design principles for steel structures, including member design, connections, and appropriate load combinations.
Coordinate with drafting teams to develop RCC detailing and steel drawings,
ensuring constructability and alignment with design intent.
Collaborate with architectural, MEP, and PMC teams to resolve design clashes and achieve effective project coordination.
Address site queries (RFIs), conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Ensure quality through design checks, peer reviews, and compliance with IS/AISC codes and ITC standards.
Participate in meetings, contributing to technical discussions and project progress.
Preferred candidate profile
M. Tech in Structural Engineering
Minimum 10+ Years of skilled experience (full time).
