Role Description The UI/UX Intern will work full time in a remote capacity, contributing to the design and refinement of user interfaces for Vayura’s airline operations platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate design ideas and workflows.

The intern will collaborate with product managers, designers,



and engineers to translate complex operational requirements into intuitive, accessible user experiences. Tasks also include conducting and synthesizing user feedback, iterating on visual designs, and supporting front-end handoff with clear specifications and assets. The role offers exposure to aviation domain workflows and an opportunity to learn how design decisions impact mission-critical operational systems.

Qualifications
Solid skills in visual design and creating high-quality mockups for web or enterprise applications.
Ability to design user flows and interfaces with a focus on User Experience Design (UED) and usability.
Experience with building interactive prototypes using common prototyping tools.
Basic understanding of front-end development concepts (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and handoff practices is beneficial.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and openness to feedback.
Interest in aviation, operations software, or complex system design is a plus.
