Role & responsibilities :
Receive materials from suppliers and verify quantity and quality with purchase orders and delivery challans.
Maintain proper records of inward and outward materials in registers or software.
Monitor stock levels and inform the purchase department for replenishment.
Ensure proper storage of cement, steel, pipes, fittings, electrical, and mechanical materials.
Issue materials to site engineers and supervisors as per approved requests.
Maintain stock registers, material issue slips, and daily reports.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and inventory control.
Prevent material damage, wastage, or theft at the site store.
Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and project teams.
Maintain housekeeping and safety in the store area.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree / Diploma in any field (civil background preferred).
3–7 years of experience in construction or infrastructure project stores.
Knowledge of construction materials and store management.

Basic computer knowledge (Excel / ERP systems)
