We’re Hiring | Transport Coordinator Prockured is looking for a responsible and well-organised Transport Coordinator to manage dispatches, deliveries and transportation activities.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with transporters, drivers, vendors and customers for timely deliveries.
Arrange suitable vehicles according to shipment size, weight and delivery location.
Track dispatches and provide regular delivery status updates.
Manage transport bookings, vehicle details, freight rates and delivery schedules.
Negotiate transportation rates and commercial terms with logistics partners.
Update dispatch and delivery information in Prockured’s custom-built order management software.
Prepare and maintain e-way bills, delivery challans, invoices and transport documents.
Verify proof of delivery and maintain transportation records.
Resolve delays, vehicle issues, damaged shipments and delivery-related concerns.
Coordinate with the purchase, operations,
accounts and sales teams.
Maintain transporter databases and compare freight quotations.
Ensure safe, cost-effective and timely movement of goods.
Skills Required
Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
Basic understanding of transportation and logistics processes.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Robust follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple dispatches and delivery schedules.
Valuable record-management and documentation skills.
Willingness to learn order management and logistics software.
