Role & responsibilities
Yard Organization: Gate trailers, containers, or equipment in and out, and perform daily physical checks of the yard layout.
Inventory Control: Update yard management software and conduct routine counts of materials, parts, or assets. Implement inventory labelling system.
Logistics Support: Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to route shipments and ensure on-time loading and unloading.
Equipment Maintenance: Inspect physical assets (chassis, trailers, rental tools, equipment received) and flag or arrange for minor repairs and cleaning.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety rules for workers and visiting drivers to keep the work area hazard-free
Post Site checks and documentation:



Ensuring site client and team coordination is hassle free and and documentation is received and completed before team dispatch from the site.
Yard Survey: Ensuring Yard Maintenance is done on a daily basis to ensure smooth and productive working

Preferred candidate profile
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Communication: Explicit verbal and written skills to talk with drivers, carriers, and staff.
Multitasking: Ability to manage high-volume activity and solve problems quickly under pressure.
Technical Literacy: Basic skill in using inventory trackers or yard management software, excel and word processing, Google Sheet updation
Problem Solving: Quick thinking to fix safety issues or traffic delays
