Role & responsibilities

Coordination with internal and external stakeholders for export shipments. Prepare & verify export documentation (CIPL+ Shipping bills, customs documents) liaison with DGFT and Customs for Export, Duty Drawback etc. Measuring performance, Negotiation with CHA, Freight Forwarders.

Handle export-related banking activities. Contribute to the development of EXIM Logistics strategies. Budget and cost management - total cost ownership to support profitability. Strictly compliance to Customs and other legislation and ensuring high level of ethics and transparency in day-to-day business.

Handling letter of credit documentation and coordinate with business team / customer on ensuring accuracy .

Work with business team on monthly Exports Dispatch plan.




Should be able to present monthly progress on EXIM metrics / review and MIS reporting.
Hands on with all recent rules and regulations, tariff , incentives, Exim /export policies .
Ensure billing of all commercially and technically cleared orders within the same month and meet the Business plan .
Preparing KRA for Export logistics service providers and measure performance against them. Contribute towards reduction in Export freight and packing costs.
Well versed with process, procedure of applying advance licenses, DGFT coordination etc .
Engage teams and mentor them to achieve greater targets.
