Job Title: VMware Administrator / VMware Engineer

Experience: 4–10+ Years

Location: PAN India / Chennai / Bangalore (as applicable)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMware Administrator to design, deploy, manage, and optimize enterprise virtualization infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, virtualization technologies, storage, networking, and disaster recovery solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
Manage virtual machines, clusters, resource pools, datastores, and templates.
Configure and maintain HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and Fault Tolerance.
Perform VMware upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, and capacity planning.
Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot VMware, storage, and networking issues.
Manage SAN, NAS, and vSAN storage integration.
Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerCLI, PowerShell, or scripting.




Work with Windows/Linux server teams and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
VMware Certified Qualified (VCP-DCV) certification is preferred.
Solid troubleshooting and communication skills.
