Position Overview The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition and promoting Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine sales. The role involves identifying potential merchants, onboarding them, and ensuring smooth deployment of POS/EDC terminals to enhance digital payment acceptance.

Key Responsibilities
Merchant acquisition: Identify and onboard recent merchants for EDC/POS machine deployment.
Sales targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals for EDC machines.
Client relationship: Build and maintain robust relationships with merchants to ensure long-term engagement.
Market research: Analyze local market trends and competitor offerings to maximize merchant penetration.
Training & support: Educate merchants on usage, advantages, and troubleshooting of EDC machines.
Documentation: Ensure proper KYC, agreements, and compliance during merchant onboarding.





Required Skills & Competencies
Sales experience in merchant acquiring, POS/EDC machines, or banking/payment solutions.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence decision-makers.
Knowledge of digital payments ecosystem and merchant needs.
Ability to work independently and meet aggressive targets.
Basic technical understanding of POS terminals and troubleshooting.

Qualifications
Graduate in Business, Commerce, or related field.
03 years of experience in merchant acquiring sales or financial services.
Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also be considered.

Location
Field-based role with travel to merchant sites.
Preferred candidates with local market knowledge.
