This role supports our Business Units by delivering high‑quality mechanical engineering solutions across product orders, integrated systems, and manufacturing support, all within a new, state‑of‑the‑art facility designed to enable collaboration and innovation.

From concept development through to validation, analysis, CAD and detailed reporting,



you’ll play a hands‑on role in bringing designs to life while ensuring they meet engineering standards and quality requirements. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you’ll contribute to practical, well‑engineered outcomes in a supportive setting that values teamwork, learning, and career development.

What you’ll do
Design Engineering: Develop 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and engineering reports to support Weir product and system design.
Engineering Validation: Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure designs meet specifications, standards, and best practices.
System Integration: Integrate pumps, valves, vibrating equipment, motors, and mechanical drives; independently select components such as gearboxes, couplings, belts, and sheaves.
Quality & Manufacturing Support: Review peer drawings for quality and compliance, applying strong knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure design feasibility.
