Role & responsibilities
Supervise daily store operations, including receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain stock records in ERP/SAP.
Monitor inward and outward material movement and verify documentation.
Conduct cycle counts, monthly stock audits, and annual physical inventory.
Maintain optimum inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams for material availability.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, preservation, and secure handling of materials.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and MIS reports.
Monitor FIFO/FEFO practices and ensure compliance with company standards.
Implement and maintain 5S, safety standards, and warehouse best practices.
Train and guide store executives and store assistants to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with ISO, EHS, and company policies.
