CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, or machining centers.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.;
Load raw materials and tooling into CNC machines.
Monitor machining operations and make offset adjustments as required.
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality.
Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle times.
Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
Follow safety procedures and company quality standards.
Maintain production records and machine logs.

Required Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related field.
25 years of experience operating CNC machines (Turning/Milling/VMC/HMC).




Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or Mitsubishi.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of CNC programming and editing is preferred.
Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with tooling selection and machine setup.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF quality systems.
Familiarity with CAM software is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions
Manufacturing/production workplace.
Rotational shifts may be required.
Standing for extended periods and handling machine tools and materials safely.
