Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, Finance, or a related field.
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting legal services, legal operations, compliance, contract management, or legal technology projects.
Robust understanding of legal workflows such as matter management, legal intake, contract lifecycle management, document management, eDiscovery, legal billing, legal hold, or compliance processes.
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, creating process flows, and supporting UAT.
Ability to work with legal stakeholders including attorneys, paralegals, legal operations, compliance, finance, IT, and external vendors.
Understanding of confidentiality, attorney-client privilege, role-based access, audit trails, and data privacy requirements.
Experience with SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
