Job Summary:
Enovix is seeking an experienced and innovative Cathode Engineer to join our agile team focused on the advancement of lithium-ion battery technologies. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge in materials science, electrochemistry, and battery technology,



with a particular emphasis on cathode materials. This role involves researching, and optimizing cathode materials to enhance the performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness of lithium-ion batteries.
Responsibilities:
Research and Development: Conduct advanced research on cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, including exploring new materials, optimizing existing ones, and developing cutting-edge solutions to enhance battery performance.
Material Characterization: Utilize various analytical techniques (e.g., X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy) to characterize the physical and chemical properties of cathode materials and failure analysis.
Electrochemical Testing: Perform electrochemical evaluations, including charge-discharge testing, cycle life analysis, and rate capability, degradation assessments to determine the performance and stability of cathode materials.
