About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Database Architect to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex database systems that support high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust database architectures and data models.
Define database standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Work with development teams to ensure database design aligns with business needs and application requirements.
Implement high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions.
Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and storage tuning.
Monitor database performance and security, ensuring compliance with data governance policies.




Collaborate with stakeholders to define database strategies and roadmaps.
Support data migration, transformation, and integration projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
Strong experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Expertise in database design, normalization, and denormalization techniques.
Solid skills in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
Knowledge of ETL tools, data warehousing, and big data technologies is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) is preferred.
Other Requirements:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience in database security, backup, and recovery strategies.

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
