Role Overview and Responsibilities:

Dhruva Space is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Legal Associate/ Senior Associate with 2–4 PQE years of qualified experience to join theCompany’s legal and compliance framework. This role is central to enabling compliant business growth, managing contractual obligations,supporting intellectual property, and aligningCompany’s operations with both national and international legal frameworks. You will collaborate withcross-functional teams, ensuring that the company’s strategic initiatives are backed by robust legal foundations while advancing its role in India’s growing space ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring enforceability, clarity, and risk mitigation.
Undertake review and management of Company compliance including HR Compliance, labor compliance, IT & DPDP Compliance, Company policies and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with national and international laws, including ContractLaw, Civil Law, Companies Act, Space Law, and UN treaties.




Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to enable compliant and strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain legal templates, SOPs, and repositories to streamline processes and reduce turnaround time.
Support management of the company’s intellectual property portfolio and contribute to internal policy development for digital and physical assets.
Manage contract lifecycle processes, leveraging digital platforms and automation tools for efficiency.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (3-year LLB or 5-year integrated program) from a recognized institution.
2–4 PQE years of qualified experience in a law firm or in-house legal team, preferably within space, aerospace, or technology sectors.
Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiations, and compliance frameworks.
Exposure to Space Law, International Law, and UN Treaties is asignificant advantage.
