Summary
UST is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead software engineering teams in building scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background in AWS, .NET, and MongoDB, combined with experience leveraging AI tools to improve engineering productivity and software delivery. This role requires robust leadership, stakeholder management, and a passion for developing high-performing teams
The Chance
Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications using .NET, AWS, and MongoDB.
Define technical strategy,
architecture, and engineering standards aligned with business objectives.
Oversee end-to-end software delivery, ensuring quality, security, performance, and reliability.
Champion Agile delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
Promote the effective use of AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT) to improve developer productivity and code quality.
Manage engineering capacity, delivery plans, risks, dependencies, and technical debt.
Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and Operations teams to deliver business outcomes.
Drive cloud modernization, application modernization, and automation initiatives.
Recruit, coach, and retain engineering talent through performance management and career development.
