Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly versatile Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer to support a critical Trade Compliance transaction monitoring platform within the ST&S; organisation. This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role spanning business analysis, test leadership, and platform/infrastructure support. The successful candidate will take ownership across the full delivery lifecycle — translating regulatory and surveillance requirements into system changes, validating complex data integrations and alerting behaviour, and ensuring the ongoing stability and integrity of a data-driven monitoring platform operating in a real-time or near real-time workplace.
Job Responsibilities
Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating regulatory and monitoring requirements into implementable system changes
Analyse and define surveillance scenarios, alert logic, and data mappings to ensure correct platform behaviour
Validate and monitor inbound data feeds,
ensuring completeness, timeliness, and structural integrity across multiple upstream systems
Lead end-to-end testing activities, including functional, integration, and regression testing for platform changes and upgrades
Own user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, ensuring outputs are accurate, auditable, and aligned to regulatory expectations
Investigate and resolve production issues, including data gaps, delayed processing, and unexpected system behaviour
Monitor platform health across data ingestion, processing, and alerting components, proactively identifying risks and failures
Support onboarding of current data sources, exchanges, or business entities into the platform
Configure and maintain platform components such as rules, alerts, workflows, and user access models
Work closely with infrastructure and vendor teams to maintain stability across cloud-hosted environments and int
