POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a seasoned and macro-aware Senior Global Rates Trader to lead our global sovereign rates, USD corporate bond, and rates derivatives trading activities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across US Treasuries and other developed-market sovereign bond markets, solid hands-on experience in interest rate derivatives, and a demonstrated ability to manage significant duration and cross-market risk within institutional portfolio mandates. This role demands sharp and well-informed global rate views, senior-level counterparty engagement across geographies, and active contribution to the firm's overall fixed income investment strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead trading and portfolio management across global sovereign rates — US Treasuries and other developed-market government bonds — as well as USD-denominated corporate bonds, across short, medium, and long-tenor segments.
Develop and execute active duration and global yield curve strategies based on macroeconomic outlook, Fed and G10 central bank policy trajectories,



cross-market liquidity conditions, and relative value across geographies.
Manage and execute interest rate derivative positions — UST futures, interest rate swaps (SOFR/OIS), cross-currency swaps, and options — for hedging, duration overlay, and relative value expression with a focus on risk-adjusted returns.
Lead current issue participation and allocation strategy for USD-denominated corporate bonds, including credit selection, relative value assessment, and coordination with the portfolio management and investment committee.
Monitor and interpret Fed and global central bank policy actions, quantitative tightening/easing programs, cross-border capital flows, and macro indicators to anticipate global yield curve movements.
Own DV01 / PV01, spread duration, and cross-currency basis risk management across the global rates book; ensure portfolio duration and interest rate sensitivity remain within mandate and within risk
