Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a 6+ years of IT experience across OpenShift/Kubernetes, L3 RHEL and good to have contemporary observability with Snowflake Observe or Honeycomb or Open Telemetry or similar tools knowledge

Requirements

Hands‑on OpenShift administration across OCP 3.x and 4.x, covering installation, upgrades, tuning, and cluster operations.
Robust working knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem, including Docker, Rancher, and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM).
Practical, real-world experience deploying and managing OpenTelemetry pipelines, including collectors, exporters, and receivers.
Must have working experience with Honeycomb or similar event‑based observability platforms
Proven ability to migrate dashboards, monitoring configurations,



and alerts from legacy APM tools like Dynatrace or Splunk Observability.
Solid foundation in Linux internals, system performance debugging, kernel tuning, and root‑cause analysis.
Proficient in automation tooling, including Ansible, shell scripting, GitOps, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and container build processes.
Good to have Cloud platform knowledge e.g. Azure Cloud / AKS, and understanding of distributed systems, microservice tracing, and high‑cardinality telemetry data.
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in rotational 24×7 support environments under high‑pressure production scenarios.
