Company Description Match Point Retail is a fashion and lifestyle retail organization that has been in the retail space for the past 20 years. We are a Master Franchisee for Levi’s, owning and operating all stores (currently 19) across key locations in Uttarakhand and Western Uttar Pradesh. We work with other brands as well but this role is specific to our Levi's operations.

Role Description The Retail Merchandiser is a full time, on-site role based in Dehradun. This role is responsible for planning stock purchases from Levi's for our portfolio of stores. This involves determining the order quantity to be bought and category wise, store wise break-up of this quantity. The role also involves negotiating the final order quantity. The objective of this role is to maximise sell-throughs and achieve fresh (non-discounted) sell-through targets and full season sell-through targets by estimating sell-out as closely as possible and making buying decisions based on these projections.



The role is also responsible for maximising sell-throughs and managing inventory levels by placing mid-season orders for rapid sellers. The role involves monitoring inventory levels and planning stock transfers within our portfolio of stores to achieve higher sell-throughs. The role is highly data driven. Someone who is good with data (very strong excel skills) with an analytical bent of mind, good with communication and negotiation and has an interest in fashion is ideally suited for this role.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess very strong Excel Skills and Analytical Skills to be able to Make Sense of Data and derive Relevant Inference from it.
Candidate should possess positive Communication and Negotiation Skills
Candidate should have an interest in fashion and have an understanding in terms of which products are more likely to sell
Job involves travel to Gurgaon (for buyer meets) and Bengaluru (for line presentations) a few times a year
