Job Summary:

Lead end-to-end Mechanical & HEMM operations at mine site, ensuring high equipment availability, safety, statutory compliance, and cost-effective maintenance to support production targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead maintenance and operation of HEMM fleet (dumpers, shovels, excavators, loaders, dozers, drills, crushers, DG sets).
Ensure equipment availability, reliability and performance through preventive and predictive maintenance.
Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with DGMS, Mines Act and statutory norms.
Plan maintenance budgets, spares and cost-optimization initiatives.
Manage mechanical teams, contractors and OEMs.
Implement reliability engineering, RCA and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with operations and mine planning for optimal equipment deployment.
Review KPIs, downtime, cost and MIS reporting.

Qualification & Experience:
B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
18–25 years of mining experience with 10+ years in senior HEMM leadership roles.
Experience in large opencast mines preferred.
