Vendor/subcontractor quality audits
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned.
B) Quality Control (QC) Functions
Ensure comprehensive inspection and testing of:
Concrete works (mass concreting, RCC, shotcrete)
Underground works (tunneling, surge shafts, caverns)
Dam and water conductor systems
Structural steel, reinforcement, and formwork
Approve material sources and ensure:
Cement, aggregates, steel, admixtures testing
Calibration of testing equipment
Monitor and control:
Field and laboratory testing (site & third-party labs)
NDT and geotechnical investigation results
C) Documentation & Reporting
Ensure robust document control system across project.
Review and approve:
Inspection reports
Test results
Material approvals
Quality dossiers
Prepare and present:
Monthly Quality Reports
KPI dashboards for management
Maintain traceability of all quality records.
D) Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with:
Statutory regulations
Environmental and safety norms
Identify and mitigate quality risks in project execution.
Integrate QA/QC with EHS and project planning functions.
E) Key Skills & Competencies
Robust expertise in:
Hydropower / PSP civil structures
Dam engineering, tunnels, underground works
Concrete technology (mass concreting, temperature control)
In-depth knowledge of:
ISO 9001 Quality Systems
QA/QC tools & methodologies
Root Cause Analysis and CAPA
Leadership and team management skills
