About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assurance qualified to join our Financial Services practice as a Manager. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on experience delivering statutory assurance engagements for banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, asset management firms, or other financial services clients, and will be ready to lead engagement teams, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end statutory assurance engagements for financial services clients, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS), regulatory guidelines (RBI, IRDAI, SEBI as applicable), and firm methodology.
Plan assurance engagements, including scoping, risk assessment, materiality determination, and development of the engagement approach.
Review financial statements, disclosures, and supporting workpapers prepared by the engagement team for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
Independently handle client discussions on technical accounting matters,



assurance findings, and reporting timelines.
Manage engagement teams of associates and senior associates — allocate work, review deliverables, provide coaching, and ensure adherence to quality and timeline standards.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (tax, risk advisory, technology assurance) for integrated client service delivery.
Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and profitability; escalate risks or delays proactively.
Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements specific to the financial services sector (RBI circulars, IRDAI guidelines, SEBI regulations) and ensure their application in engagements.
Support senior management in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client pitches.
Ensure engagement documentation is maintained in line with firm and regulatory quality control standards.
