Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Team Manager to lead a finance operations team while also contributing as an Individual Contributor (IC) in Accounts Payable (AP) Reporting. This is a hybrid role requiring a balance of hands-on reporting responsibilities and people management within the Record to Report (RTR) function.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team handling RTR (Record to Report) activities.
Own and deliver AP Reporting accurately and within defined timelines.
Monitor team performance, productivity, and adherence to SLAs/KPIs.
Drive month-end and period-end reporting activities.
Review reports, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Handle stakeholder communication and provide regular business updates.
Coach, mentor,



and develop team members to improve performance.
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.

Required Skills & Experience
7–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting Operations.
Solid experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Reporting.
Good understanding of RTR (Record to Report) processes.
Proven people management and team handling experience.
Robust analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
Experience working in a shared services/BPO environment is preferred.
Ability to work in US Shift.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
