Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Battery & Container Design Engineering Manager to lead the design and development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The candidate will be responsible for battery pack and container design, product development, testing, system integration, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop battery packs and BESS containers.
Lead Recent Product Introduction (NPI) from design to production.
Conduct product testing, FAT, and SAT.
Ensure proper integration of battery systems with BMS, PCS, and HVAC.
Review and approve engineering drawings and technical documents.
Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing teams.
Ensure compliance with IEC, UL, and other industry standards.
Lead engineering teams and ensure timely project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
10+ years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or battery design.
Knowledge of battery pack design, container design, and system integration.
Experience with NPI, FAT, and SAT.
Familiarity with BMS, PCS, HVAC, and thermal management.
Understanding of IEC and UL standards.
Positive leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.
