Mission
of the Role

Develop
next-generation wrap and carry paper technologies that combine superior
performance with sustainability, enabling customers to move to regenerative solutions in global food service and retail
applications.

Key
Responsibilities
Drive innovation in compostable
OGR/WR-based wraps through advanced coatings and performance enhancements.
Translate market and competitor
insights into clear R&D; and product development priorities.
Lead prototyping, pilot trials,
and scale-up to deliver commercially viable solutions.




Optimize coating and forming
processes while ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Identify and protect patentable
innovations to strengthen Pakka’s IP portfolio.
Collaborate with internal teams,
partners, and external labs for testing, validation, and
commercialization.
Champion sustainability and
support commercial teams with technical guidance and customer engagement.

Qualification
Master’s or Ph.D. degree in one of the following fields:
Materials Science / Paper
Science
Polymer Science / Polymer
Chemistry
Chemical Engineering

Experience
10+ years in R&D; or product
development in paper, coatings, or packaging solutions.
Proven track record in
developing sustainable or bio-based materials.
Hands-on experience with
prototyping, pilot trials, and scale-up.
Familiarity with regulatory
compliance (FDA/EU) for food-contact materials.
