Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with robust experience in the transformers industry. The ideal candidate must have hands-on knowledge of CT–PT (Current Transformer & Potential Transformer) testing and a solid understanding of transformer design principles, standards, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop transformer components, assemblies, and related systems as per project requirements.
Perform calculations, simulations, and design validation to ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical specifications.
Apply CT–PT testing knowledge to validate design integrity and performance.
Prepare technical drawings, design documents, BOMs, and engineering reports.
Support the production, testing, and quality teams during manufacturing and testing phases.
Ensure designs meet industry standards (IS/IEC) and internal quality guidelines.
Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues and implement corrective actions.




Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D;, Procurement, Quality, and Sales.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma).
Mandatory: Experience in the transformers industry.
Must-have: Strong knowledge of CT–PT testing and transformer testing procedures.
Positive understanding of transformer design, material selection, and industry standards.
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with type testing and routine testing of transformers.
Knowledge of insulation systems, winding designs, and core design.
Exposure to quality standards and certification processes.
