Ø Nursing Responsibilities:-
1. Provide direct quality patient care as per hospital protocol and policy.
2. Conferring with doctors and team on patient care, treatment and progress.
3. Administration of drugs and injections with proper documentation.
4. Inventory checking and stock management of medications, equipments, linen etc & ensuring no pilferage.
5. Emergency assessment/management of patients and transferring to higher center if required.
6. Autoclave & disinfect necessary article, instruments.
7. Refilling of consumables.
8. Regular checking of defibrillator, ambulance inventory etc.,
9. Counseling patients and giving health talk.
Ø Administrative Responsibilities:-
1. Maintaining and ensuring all records/documentations are updated and correct.
a. Bills and OPD Patient Register
b.
Medicine consumption record
c. Daily cash collection
d. Investigation records
e. Biomedical waste management records
f. Inventory list
g. Doctors appointment book
h. Communication book etc.,
2. Create duty schedule and get approved from higher authority.
3. Participates in staff educational program.
4. Orientation of recent staff to OHC and its protocols.
5. Supervise and guide Junior Staff, Health Care Assistants etc.,
6. Ensuring all supplies, equipments are in place, working properly and are handled properly.
7. Liaison between the hospital management, company management and OHC.
