Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team for a project based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in data engineering, database management, cloud technologies, and ETL development.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain optimal data pipeline architectures for data extraction, transformation, and distribution.
Optimize data processing, storage, and availability while ensuring scalability and automation.
Support the migration of the data platform from on-premises to cloud infrastructure.
Work with senior management, technology, and client teams to address data-related requirements and challenges.
Ensure data integrity, security, and governance best practices are followed.

Qualifications & Skills Required :-
7+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.




Robust knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) including Sybase, SQL Server, Postgres, DB2, etc.
Hands-on experience with SQL development, data modeling, and performance optimization.
Proven ability to manipulate, process, and extract insights from large datasets.
Experience working with distributed database systems.
Strong organizational and agile project management skills.
Ability to work in geographically distributed cross-functional teams.

Preferred (Positive to Have):
Experience with Cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Informatica.
Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Autosys.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell scripting or Python.
Experience in data governance, security, and compliance.
