Role Overview
Responsible for carrying out fermentation and cell culture operations for bacterial and yeast processes. The role involves operating bioreactors, monitoring critical parameters, and ensuring GMP-compliant production.
Key Responsibilities
Upstream Processing
(Fractionation & Fermentation)
Assist in executing bacterial and yeast
fermentation processes as per SOPs.
Support plasma fractionation using standard
protocols.
Operate or assist with USP equipment such as:
Centrifuges
Filter Press Units
Bioreactors/Fermenters
Perform CIP & SIP operations under supervision.
Monitor and learn process automation tools like
SCADA/DCS.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with
GMP standards.
Requirements
Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of USP (training provided).
Interest in working in a GMP-regulated
manufacturing environment.
Robust learning capability and willingness to work
hands‑on.
Positive communication, documentation, and teamwork
skills.
Qualifications
M.Sc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry,
Microbiology.
OR
B.E / B.Tech in Biotechnology
Experience level: 1 - 3 years
