Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of patients with hematologic disorders.
Perform and interpret bone marrow aspiration and biopsy procedures with precision and care.
Carry out hip bone (iliac crest) aspiration and biopsy procedures in adult patients.
Manage and coordinate blood transfusion protocols, ensuring compatibility, safety, and timely delivery.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient-specific diagnostics and clinical findings.
Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, and other healthcare specialists in multidisciplinary care teams.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital-wide safety programs.
Stay current with advancements in hematology through continuing medical education and research engagement.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees as needed.
Requirements:
MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Hematology (MD/DM in Hematology) or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or specialized hematologic care setting.
Proven expertise in bone marrow aspiration and biopsy procedures.
Demonstrated proficiency in performing hip bone (iliac crest) aspiration in adult patients.
In-depth knowledge of adult blood transfusion protocols, including cross-matching, adverse reaction management, and transfusion safety.
Robust analytical and diagnostic skills with a focus on hematologic pathology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure in a quick-paced clinical environment with attention to detail.
Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Counc
