Job Description:

Position: Maintenance Head

Location: Silvassa

Experience: 15 - 20 Years

Industries: Marble

Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all production and utility equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot machinery used in Marble and Quartz production, including:
o Gang Saw Machines (for marble block cutting)
o Wire Saw Machines (for block dressing and cutting)
o Keda Polishing Line
o Linto Polishing Line
o Veegoo Resin Line and Dryer System
o Bridge Cutters, Edge Cutters, Calibration Machines, and CNC Profiling Machines
o Compressors, EOT Cranes, Hydraulic Systems, and Water Treatment Units
Supervise a team of mechanical and electrical technicians to ensure smooth plant operations.
Analyze root causes of breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.
Ensure minimum downtime and maximum efficiency of all process lines.
Manage maintenance spares inventory and procurement planning to avoid production delays.
Coordinate with OEMs and service engineers (Linto, Keda,



Veegoo, etc.) for machine troubleshooting, upgrades, and AMC.
Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and machine history records.
Plan and execute annual shutdown maintenance and installation of current machinery.
Implement safety and compliance standards as per company and statutory norms.
Support process improvement, cost reduction, and energy-saving initiatives.
Ensure coordination with production, quality, and utility teams for seamless plant operation.

Technical Skills:
Expertise in Gang Saw, Wire Saw, Linto, Keda, and Veegoo machines.
Robust knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with PLC automation and CNC machine maintenance.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance planning.
Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies, drives, motors, gearboxes, and control panels.
