We are seeking a agile and motivated PHP Developer with 6 months to 2 years of experience to join our development team. You will play a key role in designing and developing a scalable e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate should have robust foundational knowledge in PHP, LARAVEL, PostgreSQL, frontend frameworks, and basic experience with the Shopify platform. A good understanding of web security best practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain secure, scalable e-commerce applications using PHP and PostgreSQL
Build responsive front ends using up-to-date frontend frameworks.
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and manage secure data flow.
Ensure web application security including input validation, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Collaborate with the design and frontend teams for smooth UI/UX delivery.
Perform debugging, testing, and optimization to ensure high performance.
Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
Apply basic understanding of Shopify for comparative learning and potential platform integrations.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience in developing and managing e-commerce platforms with custom admin and user modules.
Understanding of web security principles.
Knowledge of REST APIs and data handling in JSON/XML format.
Familiarity with Shopify platform structure and customization basics.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Preferred:
Exposure to Laravel frameworks.
Experience with Shopify theme editing or app configuration.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce sites.
Understanding of hosting and deployment on Linux servers.
