Experience and Knowledge Background
Academic background in International Relations, Political Science, Geopolitics, Strategic Studies, Defence Studies, Security Studies, Area Studies, Economics, Public Policy or a related discipline.
Robust understanding of international relations, geopolitical developments, India’s foreign policy, diplomatic affairs and regional security issues.
Candidates who have interned, worked or undertaken research assignments with think tanks, policy research institutions, international affairs organisations, government bodies, universities, media research organisations or similar institutions will be preferred.
Exposure to geopolitical research, country and regional analysis, foreign media monitoring, policy analysis and preparation of research briefs or analytical reports.
Ability to research and analyse information from government publications, diplomatic statements, international organisations,



think-tank reports, news sources, journals and social media platforms.
Knowledge of OSINT research techniques, source verification, Boolean search, fact-checking, narrative analysis and identification of misinformation or influence campaigns.
Ability to prepare concise country profiles, geopolitical assessments, situation reports, policy briefs and senior-level briefing notes.
Robust written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi or any foreign language relevant to the assigned region will be an added advantage.
Fresh graduates with relevant internships, research projects, published articles, dissertations or demonstrated knowledge of international affairs and OSINT may also be considered.
